Default Assember Error 113 when compiling Scroll_demo.bas ILI9320

Having received a box of goodies from Crownhill this morning, I decided to have a play with the GLCD shield. I've managed to get one of Les's demo programs, Wheel_Animation.bas, to work perfectly. However, any demo program that prints to the screen throws up the following errors......

    Message[308] C:\USERS\BOB\DESKTOP\PROTON_ILI9320_COLOUR_LCD_SHI ELD_SOURCE\A.S 93 : Warning level superseded by command line value. (2)
    Error[113] C:\USERS\BOB\DESKTOP\PROTON_ILI9320_COLOUR_LCD_SHI ELD_SOURCE\A.S 1300 : Symbol not previously defined (PRINT)

I understand what Error[113] is telling me, but have no idea how to cure it! Any help gratefully received.

Proton Version 3.7.2.7 is being used with MPASM 5.77.

    Bob

Open file "ILI9320.inc" and go down to Line 1386.

You will see the line of code: #ifdef Print#Req

    Replace this with: #IfSym __SysCom_GLCD_Print_Req_

Then move down to line 1451 and replace the code: #endif with #EndIfSym

The compiler used to use #defines in the Asm file for checking if a compiler command had been issed in the program when it was disabled, but I changed this a few years ago to an internal symbol that can be used with the #IfSym directive, but I forgot that I had used the asm #defines in a few programs that replaced the compiler's library codes with codes in the BASIC listing.

Also open the file "ILI9320.inc" in the users Includes directory: "C:\Users\User Name\PDS\Includes" and make the changes to that as well, because the compiler will use this include file if it is not within the BASIC program's directory.

Thank you Les, that's sorted the problem out.

    Much appreciated,
