    Default Individual Pricing

On another forum there was mention of selling just Pickit3+ for $12.50. I looked around online and only found Pickit2+ being sold individually:
    https://www.piccircuit.com/shop/software/202-243-pickit2-plus.html

I'm curious as to what happened with 3+? I'm quite vigilant about removing any/all extraneous software from my computer, so if I were to download 2+, 3+, AND the "command line utility," I would immediately uninstall everything except the 3+ that I actually need.

$28 to upgrade my Pickit3 is just a bit too steep, especially considering a Pickit4 is only $48. I think most people would happily pay $15 for 2+ or 3+, but the thought of spending $28 makes most people skip straight to "Screw it, I'll just toss my old Pickit and buy a Pickit 4."

    Morning,

    All great questions.

PICCircuit have a set of software for there programmer. PICKitPlus extends the capabilities of the PICCiruit programmers to the full list of parts we support. They have packages that are just the GUI applications for the PK2 and the GUI and the command line software. This is a great way for existing users to re-use the PICCiruit programmers. As PICCircuit do not manufacture a Pk3 clone they do not have a GUI for the PK3 programmer. So, essentially we 'white label' the software for PICCircuit.

So, if you simply want PK3 programmer support. Ping us an email and we would provide a package of the PICKitPlus GUI software for the PK3 and the command line utility. email on pickitplus@anobium.co.uk

For the complete package the easy route is www.pickitplus.co.uk, we are improving the website soon to show the separate applications as we now have new programmers - PK+GANG and PK+AutoWatch ready for Windows and Linux. And, the port of our core programming software is ready for Linus and we have Mac OS in the pipeline. We also have a new UK designed and built PK2 programmer ready, it is:very cheap and a kit - so folks can build there own programmers.

Regarding Pickit4 programmer. A great choice. Each programmer has different capabilities and constaints and each user needs may be met by have a wide choice of software and hardware.
