    Have you both checked the soldering, in particular the soldering of flexible pcb to the main one?

    If it's any help, I have four of these, all from the same place, and all four work OK. I am using Dompie's code as well.
    It's not a 5/3.3V issue is it? I use 18F26K22 64Mhz, 5V.

    Sounds like you have a bad batch.

    As john posted, some devices allow you to use modified I2C addresses (looks like SSD1306 uses bit1). Try the scanner I posted.

    Hi Maxi,
    in the past I had this problem: some displays worked, others showed nothing.
    After several tests I discovered this:

    Display_INIT 'Initialize the display
    Clear_Mem 'clear PIC RAM video buffer
    refreshMem 0 'Send video buffer (PIC RAM) to the display

    DelayMS 100

    OSCTUNE =% 01000000 'Enable PLL 16mhz x 4 = 64mhz

    if I set the PLL before initializing the display it did not work.
    Come down with the clock and try

    That's an interesting point.
    I've only used 32MHz so maybe you've identified the issue for 64MHz.

    I've only used 64Mhz with these devices and not had a problem. However, I have bought a few of the bigger modules and I can't get one of them to work. It's an Aurduino-stype module with 8+8+6+6 connectors. I have another one in this style which works. I will experiment with a slower clock at start-up and see what happens.

    I have started a Wiki article about these OLED modules but other pressures are delaying things a bit.

    Best to all
