    Question Upgrade procedure validation installer

I have donated, received and installed the Procedure Validation Installer.
Then, I could compile indeed procedures with version 3.6.1.2.

    Now I have downloaded 3.7.1.7
First I've renamed the foldername from the "old" ProtonIDE version in "ProtonIDE 3.6.1.2"
Then I have installed version V3.7.1.7

But after compiling, now I get the error:
Procedures are NOT valid in your compiler version

If I go back to version 3.6.1.2 (by renaming the folders), the program will be compiled well in V3.6.1.2, but not in V3.6.1.7
Restarting the computer did not help.

How can I get it so that the "upgrade procedure validation installer" works on all future compiler versions?

This topic also gives me the chance again to give Les a great compliment for his work.

A great and lovely compiler Les!

    Frizie,

I have tried to compile with that version a program with the Pic18F24J11 and with procedures and everything works properly on my PC.

    Regards,

If you just do an in-place ie over write the existing, your proceedures licence will be carried over. So, in short, just do installwith out copying, renaming etc. and all will be good.
