An example of printing component side graphics. The toner is extremely durable. THe PCB is a development board for my four year old grandson who is 'high end' autistic. He cannot read or write properly yet, nor does he have keyboard skills, so he has to dictate the program lines to his mother who types them into Proton for him. FIrst we tested him for colour perception (8% of males are colour blind in one way or another.). He was actually three when we tested his understanding of Boolean operators. PRoton proved to be almost perfect for this application, because he had no computer language to learn and already knew what the usual commands meant. THere was only one thing missing in the compiler, to make it perfect.

    Francis.

20190503_145931.jpg Printed graphics using the heat press. THe Pic is an 18F25K22 and the small chip is a uln2803a for the outputs. THis enough for the 100 module course.

Interesting post moonshadow. Your board look pretty tidy to me. I like the fact you can print onto the non-copper side of the board too. Was the idea of using a t-shirt press yours? Gem of an idea.

    Nice board Francis.

As Bob stated, a really good idea to use the transfer on the component side of the board as well. I'll have to try that one day.

    Hi Chaps,

MY problem seemed to involve heat time and pressure. The heat press allowed precise variation of each fzctor, so I thought it was worth z try ..... since I was getting desperate Hi.
