User Articles not accessible – 448 days old

I just noticed that If I click on any of the "user articles" at the top right side of the forum top level menu page, such as: http://www.protonbasic.co.uk/content...ncy-limitation
I get the error message:

rcurl, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I am logged in while getting this message.

Is anyone else seeing this?

is this issue ONLY when logged in or does it affect every one

for myself as admin i don't see the isue

if i log out and browse as an unregistered user i don't see the issue

Can you confirm, that this issue is ONLY affecting one article. As I see it, other articles in the widget on the right of the forumm page seem to be linking correctly. but the article HPWM-low-frquency-limitation is not available.
is that correct?

Having looked into it, the issue was related to one single article.

The problem was that the article was published in a section that is not published

That is to say that there are sections in the CMS that are empty and unused and are not visible. The article author, selected a non existent section when publishing. The article author can see all sections, because of their status. ( admins must be more careful than normal users !)
