Default Resistor measure with pwm and adc?

Sometime, when I reading magazine project
I can see people reading low values resistor with pwm and microcontroller (like 10 ohm, 100 ohm etc)
    how can we make it?

You can just use the ADC in an resistor divider set up.

Are you certain that is what they are doing?

I would think that a capacitor has to be involved somewhere to crate an average voltage for the ADC to read, I assume you could not see a capacitor being used to average the voltage so they may somehow be utilising the inherent capacitance of the in I/O pin or ADC input stage to create the averaging.

In which case if the I/O pin capacitance is being used I would think that would probably only work at a very specific modulation frequency, modulation depth and for a small range of resistors. If the ADC capacitance is being used then perhaps the PWM modulation depth is being varied until a specific voltage is read on the ADC and it is the modulation depth rather then the input voltage read by the ADC that corresponds to the resistor value.

However, this is just speculation as we have been given virtually no information go on, perhaps if a copy of a relevant article(s) was supplied it would be easier for someone to deduce the method being used from the circuits operating description/diagram.

You have not given us any information at all.

Until you show a schematic or link to the article there is nothing people can do to help you.
