Hi All
It's been a long time since I've played with PDS. Back in 2013 I wrote a program all working correctly, I've recently was required to make an update to the firmware and now get a compile error. The first one which I think I've sorted, I'm using sprintimage it kept telling me the LCD_type = GRAPHIC was a protected word, even though I added Declare in front and saved the file the error kept repeating. So I opened up the PBP file in the library and added Declare to it, Now this error has gone but I get the following error in the image not sure what's changed or how to get it compile correctly ?
I forgot to add I've updated to the latest version of the complier
Thanks
Steve

I've got it to compile by adding Dim FONT_TABLE as byte system at the beginning of the code will test it in unit soon.

Good to see you back Steve. There's been a few changes to the compiler over those 4 years and Les has it going from strength to strength. Glad you sorted the issue.
Cheers

Thanks John, I want and need to get back into it, I need to learn the Pic24 now which I'm reading up on. Guess I was a bit to quick to ask to be honest it just took me by surprise that it did not compile, Thought it was something I did or changed to start with. I did a search and found that Tim gave the answer in another topic some where and I just changed it for FONT_TABLE.

Hi Steve
I got into Pic24 some time ago, and it was surprisingly easy - worked first time! I wrote it up for the Wiki:
