Not exactly giving us much to go on there, i.e. ...
Graphical or Alphanumeric? 8/4 bit parallel or serial data?
Using Proton commands or rolling your own (your code would be useful)?
If Alphanumerical is it Hitachi compatible, have you connected it correctly?
If Hitachi compatible and using protons commands have you tried the LCD_CommandUS and LCD_DataUs commands incase the default values are not suitable?
Have you checked there is not something interrupting the transfer of data to the display resulting in a data misread by the display?

    Sorry. Thanks for coming back
It's four bit, alpha numeric Itachi.
The code is based on an interrupt clock.which I'll try and post
    But I'm on my iPhone.
The code still runs as it makes an led flash every 30 seconds but the screen after a day goes ?????????.
The circuit is good for the other 30 project s I've used it for and there are two one on a breadboard and one on a PCB.
They both do exactly the same after one day.The circuit is one of les's I've use for 16 year's but all the wr and enables are taken low not to pins.
    Thanks
