    Hi,

It would be helpful to know what the errors are. I've just downloaded the files pointed to by your link. All 4 demo programs compile without error on my machine. Sorry, but don't have the hardware to test out the compiled progrm.

I've just downloaded the files and they are compiling without a problem, as Bob has confirmed.

What version of the compiler are you using?

Update the compiler from the "Updates" button at the top of this screen and try compiling again. The chip that the files are compiled for is one for the free types used on the Amicus18 board, and do not require the USB key.

But what version of the compiler are you using? Remember, PICmicro devices are being developed all the time, so if you're using a device that was not actually developed at the time the compiler version you're using was written, you will get errors with certain devices, because they didn't exist at that time, so support could not be added for them.

Just to make sure everything is OK. I've downloaded the version from the "Updates" section of the forum (version 3.5.7.7) and the files from the Wiki article compile without problems.

I've added the patch that makes it version 3.5.7.8 from here:

    http://www.protonbasic.co.uk/vbdownl...downloadid=326

The programs still compile without errors.

I've added the patch that gives more "free" devices from here:

    http://www.protonbasic.co.uk/vbdownl...downloadid=331

The programs still compile without errors.

We need more details from you.

Within the compiler's IDE, click on the "Help" toolbar button, then the "about" option and give us the "Proton BASIC Compiler" version it states. i.e. the bottom section of the window.

I just received my GLCD. Had to modify it to work on 8 bits (tricky desoldering a 0402 resistor and soldering 2 other "spots").
Wired my 45K20 board to a 40 pin connector, replaced the amicus.inc by my own .inc and ran the demos.

    Yes! It's great!
    Thanks a lot Les!

I only wonder what the coordinates are when setting the display to landscape_reversed.

    regards
    Harm
