    Default Carriage_Return not recognized with [HserIn] command

    I got some basic serial port communication going between PC and PIC (PIC18F45K22) (Sending receiving is working) but somehow I can not use the sample code properly ,as it won't recognize the [Carriage_Return] code
    Carriage_Return = 13
    HSerIn 5000 , Timeout,[Wait(Carriage_Return) , Dec RS232_In] .......never works

    I'm not using the proton developing board and therefore don't include the "Proton_4.Inc" ....(I assume I'm missing some definitions ..but so far I have not been able to figure out's missing ???)

    Any ideas what's missing ??

    Georg

    Hey Georg,

    Try the hexcode instead ($0D). If you want an "ENTER" use $0D, $0A.

    That's about the first thing I tried.... :-(
    Somehow It seems to me like it's filtered out somewhere on the URT Input ???

    Also if you're correct (I'm not saying you're not), how would that Proton sample ever have worked ???
