Hi Dave,
I can't explain why the debugger window won't open on my laptop, but it does on my work pc. Unfortunately, I didn't bring a suitable dev board to work to test it on, so I will try again tomorrow.

I have downloaded all the programs and Installed them successfully but when I added the Include "PICD_Monitor.inc" it doesn't shows up. I search the entire hard drive for the file but it's not there. Am I missing something? Many thanks in advance.

Yves

Hi Yves
The file is created by the plugin, on a successful compile the file is deleted, you may see the file if you wish by creating a small compile error thus the file will not be deleted.

Okay the Include "PICD_Monitor.inc is not normally viewable, it is created and deleted by the PICD_Plugin
Are you using PICD_Plugin to compile the program?
'Use the Compile for P-ICD Button on the plugin
'The PICD_Monitor.Inc will be created in the same directory as the main file
'So make sure write there are write permissions
'After a successful compile Program
'And then run P-ICD
See sections in the P-ICD Help.pdf
>How the new P-ICD Compile plugin works.
>Proton™ ICD Plug-in
Here is an example for the Amicus board
Device18F25K20.zip
Hope this helps

Hello Dave,
I had another go with the P-ICD plugin. I had to slightly modified the sample program you gave elsewhere using 18F25K20 so I change it to 18F25K22 in the Fuses18F25K22.Inc. I have successfully loaded the pic but when I tried to run it I get an error message "Parse error can't continue Memory bank not found". I tried manually load it in the P-ICD program and getting the same error. Any idea where thing went wrong? I'm using an equivalent of Amicus board but it is called "Breeze" but the circuit is exactly the same than the Amicus board. Using win 7 64bit and USB/serial connection. I have attached the program file. Please have a look. Thank you.
Best regards,
Yves

Hi yvesmazzon
It will be a while till I can get around to looking at this, will be busy for the next month.
I have a problem with some of the components, I will have to try and repair an old laptop which I used to build P-ICD.
I suspect the problem is a change in how the .lst file is written by MPASM™ assembler, the Proton Compiler may now be using a different version.

Dave
