Default One wire (DS18B20) and XTAL = 48 on 18F4550

Anybody know a workaround to get one wire working at that speed (can't change speed, it's for USB)?

I thought I'd cracked Proton/one wire but by shear fluke I used xtal = 4, which works consistently and any other speed, which apparently does not.

Is there a DECLARE that I've missed?

This code http://www.protonbasic.co.uk/showthr...-problem/page2 post #27. If your still around, thanks Bordje.

Not sure if you'd call this solved or worked around. It bit bangs rather than use oread/owrite commands. If anyone can figure out how to read/write the scratch pad, I can publish a full example using CRC and setting resolution.

Should work at any speed and no delays (I replaced to two NOPs with Delayus 1) relay upon processing speeds.
