    I would recommend the Nokia 6100 Epson GLCD 128 x 128.
See NOKIA 6100 GLCD Code, BMP Converter for BMP converter and demo code.

    HI,
2 points on this display, first is that the cIs command has to be done differently (I have posted elsewhere but can give example if needed, basically you need to set all the pixels as it appears to work inverse to green ones.) and the main one for me was that it is not really good for fast moving data, I was doing a revcounter and speedo but there is a persistence ov vision issue so you see the last chacter briefly. Other than that it is a nice display.

    Regards,
    Bob

That display looks rather outdated and actually expensive for what it is. My personal preference these days is for COG displays (Chip On Glass). They are thin and easier to fit to a PCB.

Take a look at RS or Farnell. They have a huge amount of displays that start from 6 UK pounds each for single quantities. For a starter look here:

For me I want to be able to use pprint etc and I need a big screen. The cost is not really a issue. Not when you consider in of the sensors is going to cost 200.
