    Default Moderators help required

I was informed there was a file missing from the USB bootloader zip posted on the wiki article so I added the file to my copy of the zip. I uploaded the file and copied the url
Went to the article and clicked on the pen icon. The edit box was presented and I scrolled to the bottom, deleted the existing link, inserted the new one and did a save.

Now the format is screwed and half the article is gone.

    WTF!!!

I don't know what happened but there is no easy way to restore the article. At least some of it is cached here: http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...&hl=en&ct=clnk which you can copy back.

I don't have the time right now to copy the cached version back, and will be some formatting issues involved there, but maybe another mod can help.

I see what you mean Tim.
The trouble is that everything is done online and there is no local copy.
Did Johngb have a copy in Word?
I'm willing to have a go at the formatting for you but I wouldn't know if anything was missing unless it was really obvious.

    Tim,
I've printed out the material from Wastrix's find on Google cache.
The main difference is the formatting. There are some differences in the wording right at the end but these may reflect what you added.
Basically, it all seems to be there IF the Google cache is accurate and is a snapshot before you made the change. It's mostly <CR><LF> that seems to be lost.
If you wish I'm happy to have a go at restoring the formatting.

I did do some work on the article correcting and adding back in stuff that other day which is why it does not look so bad now.. All that is need is as you say some <CR><LF> to be added. When I get a chance I will do it.
    Tim
