    Punkie,
To become a licensed user you will see at the top of a forum page a heading "Forum Actions". Drop down the menu to "Edit Profile". In your profile you will see a spot to put your invoice number and then click the "Validate me" box.
Staff will check the invoice and if all is well, register you as a licensed user. This will open up all the goodies of the site and encourage people to help you. Welcome to the Forum.

    Hello Les,
    thanks for the quick response:-)

I'm an ATMEL and Freescale micro user and have never used PIC before, and when I came across this site it was very interesting to me. I have not researched PIC up till now but I know there are 32 bit parts and these are very interesting to me.

Let me think about buying a proton board and a software licence. I hope you'll send the original PDF should I sign up:-)

    thanks again

    (potential proton user)

    P.

    Punkie,
The PDS (and I have no financial link with Crownhill) is an absolutely top product. I can highly recommend it for the supported devices. The supported list is here:
