Hello, you'll have noticed that we've been working on the forum and community features recently , adding new features almost daily. (some you can see, some are for admin).

You'll probably recall that we offered users a FREE web site and web hosting, the idea was to encourage users to build sites to promote their PIC based activities - though they could could them for almost anything, there were no set restrictions on use.

That venture seems to have failed, for one reason or another users don't seem to want to crate web sites...

So, we were thinking that maybe we should introduce a Blogging feature, but i'd like the user of this forum to give some feedback on this.

The User Blog is a fully featured blogging add-on that enables community members to create their very own online blogs within the forum environment. Giving members a place to post personal thoughts, ideas and musings.

The Blog makes it simple for users to create their own space within the community. Getting started is as simple as posting the first message (using the same familiar editor that is used in the CMS and Forum). There is no lengthy setup process - blog owners are free to personalise their blog at any time by defining a title and a description that will appear at the top of every blog post.

The Blogs can be organised in many ways, some users might want to run a diary logging their progress when developing a project, others may want to document their thoughts of a more general nature and yet others might want to run a Blog as a show case for products they produce for sale - like a mini web site.
