    Hello everyone,

Hi, its great to see you visiting our forum. Why not try Proton Compiler for FREE?

Download the FREE version of Proton Compiler, Its called Amicus18 and its available from HERE

Already using proton Compiler??? Get rid of these pesky messages... get LICENSED USER STATUS

I have been trying to get upgraded also, but since I bought my copy through a private sale (via this forum actually) about 5 years ago. I do not have a receipt from a valid vendor. I have the book, the tempermental dongle and the CD. I had been a registered member, but this is for fun and had not stopped by the forum for a some time, so the old account name is no longer valid and it will not renew with that. I have submitted the form on line here a couple of times, but to no avail. I could send a picture of the stuff I guess. Any thoughts on how to make this happen?

    Thanks,
    Dave N9GQ

    G'day Dave
That's one for Crownhill policy I guess and I do NOT speak for them. To me it seems fair enough if a person can prove they bought the copy from a licensed user who is no longer a licensed member of the forum but you'll have to wait and see what Lester thinks. I do believe that solid proof of purchase is a reasonable requirement. What this looks like is the difficult question, Crownhill have to protect their product and licensed user status on the Forum is part of the incentive for people to buy.

    Dave,

If you had an old account I would suggest that you contact Crownhill with your old user name for them to dig it out and might solve the problem.
    Regards

    Joseph

you might like to send me a photograph of your dongle and i'll upgarde your status.

but dont expect us to replace the dongle, if we have no record of the sale to you.

Thank you Lester, I have sent a separate email with pictures.

The dongle is OK. It just is a little tempermental at times. It tends to be pug-fiddle with-then play once and a while. If I leave it on the back of the computer and don't let anything bump into it everything always works fine.

Try using the dongle with a USB port expander. Works for me, Windows 7 Pro, x64., plus gives me a couple of extra USB ports to play with. If you need to use PDS on another computer, move the expander, complete with dongle. Saves on wear and tear.

A wise man may listen and say nothing. A fool may listen and have nothing to say. Which one are you???
