IDE Scrolls to different part of code

Why does the ide scroll to show the current cursor position when you switch between code windows?

It always moves the code so the cursor is at the bottom of the window even if the cursor is visible.

It really frustrates me as I use the wheel on my mouse to scroll through the code.

Is there a way to stop this? I have looked in the options but cant see anything.

Yes, I agree that this functionality should be added.

Ditto. I HATE this so-called "feature"! It's a pain to have to manually move the cursor to the bottom of the page every time you want to compare two files.
