Default Move Editor Options to new PC

    Hi All

Is there a simple way to move the editor options (Environment, Highlighter etc) from one PC to another?

    Thanks
    Peter

AFAIK you can't transfer options like that. Any custom keywords for the highlighter you have added can be transferred across in the Database.mcd file, and your programmer settings are in the programmer.ini

    A method to do this:
    - Export this registry key on your old PC using regedit:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MecaniqueUK\ProtonIDE\O ptions
(this contains also the Highlighter subkey)
    - copy it to an USB key (or to a floppy :-)
    - Install your Proton on the new PC
    - then import the previously saved .reg file (double click on it).
    - then run Proton IDE, navigate to menu View/Editor Options/General
and modify the "Default Startup Source Folder" if needed.

    Take care!
