    Default proteus vsm with proton development suite

    Hi
    I have just purchased Proteus design suite 7.8, it is running ok with the supplied samples, but when I run a program from my Proton suite (also licenced, and up to date ) my program automatically reverts to the proteus demo program supplied with the proton suite. I was under the impression that when you loaded the full version of proteus then the proton suite automatically sent it`s programs there for simulation. I have scanned the help files and forums for any information relating to this problem but so far have came up with nothing, any help would be very much appreciated.

    you have to change the isis.ini file to point to the real proteus directory usally it looks like this on
    win7
    [STARTUP]
    filename=C:\Program Files (x86)\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 7 Professional\BIN\ISIS.EXE
    on win xp
    [STARTUP]
    filename=C:\Program Files \Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 7 Professional\BIN\ISIS.EXE

    Actually is is surprisingly easy.

    In the IDE press F12
    On the tool bar of the new dialogue there is an Icon that says ISIS Location
    Click on that and point it to the location of the ISIS.EXE version you want to use.

    Job done!

    Thanks for your reply, but when I press F12 I get the VHB explorer page from the demo version, and there is no facility there to point it to the full version.

    Make sure your running the latest version. This is what you should see when your looking at the ISIS launcher
