Default can create an article, but not publish or edit it

    Hi All,

I can create an article for the wiki, but for some strange reason I miss the options to publish it or edit it.
Anybody has any clue what to do?

    Regards, Harm

    Hi Harm,

Have you looked here for guidance? I think you have to set the publishing options as per the article.

    Regards

    Joseph

    Hi Joseph,

Thanks. I just received a notification from Wastrix that I have access to the publishing options by now.

    Regards, Harm

    To explain how it works:
    - A Licensed user can write articles, but not publish them until approved by a moderator.
    - If we feel you are trustworthy and can right good quality material, we will upgrade you to a "Contributor" at our discretion.
    - A contributor is able to write and publish their own articles.

    William,

So where do I check if someone has posted an article please? Have looked to try and locate Harm's article but could not find it.

    Regards

    Joseph

I don't think he did write an article. I cannot find any trace, either published or unpublished.

A little misunderstanding here. The Multiplexing article was Harm's first, and the first post implied that he'd written another, but obviously not.
Anyway, it doesn't matter. In the future, Harm can publish his own articles, and so this thread is now cleared up.

My article was a result of a question in the forum, I'm not really an "article person" (although I must admit I liked writing it). Basically, this is because electronics and microcontrollers are just a hobby and I, like many of you, learn a lot from others.
There are a number of areas that I'm quite good at though, at least, so I'm told. IT in general, programming and, especially, testing.
So if any of you have a topic to be explored, and think I could come up with a decent story, please let me know.
    Regards, Harm
