Default Why Aren't Plugins installing on the Beta Version

I recently downloaded and installed the Beta version however, most plugins for PicBasic will not install as it says, "Setup is unable to locate a Proton IDE Installation. You need to install version 1.0.3.0 or higher to proceed." What is going on? How do I fix this other then remove the Beta version and install the old version?

What plugin's have you tried to install?

I know I had an issue with getting plugin's to work, I had to flush out every thing to do with Proton even from the registry before it would all work.

I hope they produce a fail safe install to prevent that happing when they release it finally.

It's a bit confusing downloading the correct plugin version, as the pages on the old wiki have been modified.

The plugins can be downloaded from
    http://www.picbasic.org/content.php/157-Plugins
    or
    http://wiki.picbasic.org/index.php?n=Main.Plugins

Please specify which plugins you have downloaded and will not install.

Hopefully shortly, there will be no need for 2 versions.

    Dave
