Why do you need Proton to run exactly at that Freq?

    Hi Tim

    Added crystal frequency 19.66MHz for 14-Bit (16F) and 16-Bit (18F) core devices. Use XTAL = 19.
    Added crystal frequency 7.3MHz for 14-Bit (16F) and 16-Bit (18F) core devices. Use XTAL = 7.

I just seen it in "WHATS NEW". If Les can do 19.66 and 7.3 and so and so... why not 18.432 where I can get exact baudrate in serial communication, and one more thing I have some 100 plus of that crystal in my junks .... is there a way to set the registers?

The only reason you would use an xtal of that exact freq like that is for serial coms. Hardware serial coms. So all you do is set the usart up to run at that freq. It takes 3 lines of code.

So what else are you looking for that requires Proton to have a xtal setting of that exact frequency?

you are right... as I had said Les added some uncommon frequency that is why I write it here in wish list. Can you show me the way how to adjust it? Which register I have to set?
