    Default What's the plan?

What are the plans on the Wiki is the site been duplicated or moved to the new site.
Is http://wiki.picbasic.org/ staying, at least we can post and update our articles and files there.
If it is been duplicated how will this site keep up to date.

    Hello Dave,

The old wiki content is being moved to this wiki, and you can post new articles at your leisure. On top of this page you can access it. Simply go to the section you want to post in and click the 'Start a new Article'. The rest is rather obvious.

The wiki and the other stuff is now more accessable and easier to post in. So go ahead.

    Currently wiki.picbasic.org is live.

Moderator Fanie, is working on moving the wiki.picbasic.org entries to the new wiki section on the web site.

Its voluntary work, so additional volunteers are welcome.

I suggest that in view of the fact that now that we have a tightly integrated content management system, new entries are made on the CMS.

As a licensed user, you can create articles for entry into the wiki area of the new CMS.

As you view the sections under the WIKI , you'll notice a button, top right +Create New Article

click that to create a new wiki entry, the WYSIWYG editor is pretty stratight forward and the menu on the right hand side of the page will allow you to select where the entry goes.

You must post only into sections WIKI or Projects.

Fanie and wastrix will mderate and assist if you have probelms.

If you wish to link to large files or images, there is a file uploader under the section Support, fill in the form and upload the file to the file server and then link to that from your article.

There's no button on the plugins page but in no rush to see it, you must have done more than your 10 minutes per week.
Thanks of all your work your doing.

I see we can create a new Article is it easy to Edit the Page, I ask because say I update a plugin, on the other wiki, I upload the new file and change the link to point to the new file, so the old file cant not be downloaded by accident.

    Yes you can update it.

there is no beter way to learn than to try.

No one is going to grind you down for making the odd mistake on your first article.

Try creating an article then modify it.

if you get stuck, we are here to assist.

Maybe we should have a test article area, for beginers?

I created an area in the WIKI for test articles.

We'll clear it out from time to time.

Go make an article, play and have fun !

I doubt that will be required, it's really easy to use.
