A few weeks ago buy JHD12864E screen with KS0108 controller and do not see nothing.
    View DataSheet: http://www.egochina.net.cn/e-shop/eb.../JHD12864E.pdf
Anyone know if this is compatible with Proton GLCD.
    Thanks ..

I wonder where failure because neither the source nor the wiring, I can not see anything at all on the display.
With the Proteus simulator works fine, but riding on the PCB Board and the protoboard not work at all.

    Get me out of doubt.
    Thank you very much.

I can't remember exactly, but sshouldn't the bottom of the contrast pot be connected to 5v, not 0v, if it is negative vee?

I do not understand, I'll leave the part of the pin configuration especially VEE VEE =-10V the datasheet, (I use an external source that will give me-10V).
and as I have it connected.

    Thank you.

    DataSheet Pin 18 VEE:

    Diagram conection view VEE??

1 end of VR to 5v. The other end to pin 18 (VEE on datasheet, -Vout on your schematic) and the wiper to V0 (Pin 3)
Are you able to adjust the contrast up and down?

    Poten Pins:
    1 to 5V Board
    2 FREE (Nothing)
    3 to 18 Pin (VEE)

3 Pin (VO) to GND Board.

Pin 2 should be on Vo. If you can't get the screen to go dark, then you might have a dead glcd

Try adding ALL_DIGITAL TRUE to your code, I see you have 3 pins on PortE analogue pins
