OK, 921600 baud will do, my PC's serial port goes up to that so it'll help with de-bugging.

Hi, its great to see you visiting our forum. Why not try Proton Compiler for FREE?

Download the FREE version of Proton Compiler, Its called Amicus18 and its available from HERE

Already using proton Compiler??? Get rid of these pesky messages... get LICENSED USER STATUS

What xtal would give a 0% error at this speed on the PIC's hardware UART ?

BTW is this baud 921.6 Kbytes per second ?

  2. If you're a Licensed user of PROTON DEVELOPMENT SUITE, apply for Licensed User Status to remove these pesky messages

    The wonders of PicMultiCalc

A PIC running at 48MHz can do 3000000 baud with 0% error.

Which is excellent because the Vinculum's PLL can be switched off and fed a 48Mhz clock instead of 12MHz.

Is that really about 3MBytes per second
