I have developed a plug-in to report Variable usage statistics. The plug-in will report where each variable is declared, where and how many times it is used in the program and what RAM bank each variable occupies.
I have tested it against programs which I have written for 18F devices and which have many included files and use library routines. However I do not have anything substantial to test smaller device types, e.g. 10, 12 and 16F devices.
Hi, its great to see you visiting our forum. Why not try Proton Compiler for FREE?
Download the FREE version of Proton Compiler, Its called Amicus18 and its available from HERE
Already using proton Compiler??? Get rid of these pesky messages... get LICENSED USER STATUS
The Plug-in requires use of a modified Library Manager Pre-Compiler so someone who already uses Library Manager would be the most obvious choice. Users who develop with the smaller PICs are preferred.
Could volunteers please PM me with their EMail address and I will send them the relevant files and some basic instructions.
Please note any volunteer uses this at their own risk!
