    Default GLCD allmost working

    Hello folks,

I'm using an 18F4550 with a GLCD. (samsung type)
I previously had an 48 Mhz crystal on my PIC, and my GLCD was working fine.
(XTAL=48 was set in my code)
I replaced the 48 Mhz crystal with a 20 Mhz (because that's what is stated in the EasyHID schematic on protongeeks, I also need USB on this PIC)
But since this crystal is in it, I get "garbage" on my display. a CLS, gives me an allmost empty screen, with 8 thin lines on the display, evenly separated horizontally across the screen.
I also use a selfwritten routine to display images on the LCD, those images show up just fine. (I use "LCDWrite" to write bytes to the display)
alldough, the stranges lines do stay on the display, they get not erased by the picture-data.
All characters that I try to write with "print at", are garbage.
I tried to set "GLCD_STROBE_DELAY" to 100 (and even higher), without any avail ...

P.S. The rest of the code works fine, my PIC shows up as an USB device under "USB Human Interface Devices", stating that it works
    correctly.

Can someone please help me out with this problem ?

    Thank you,
    Kris

    Default Argh !

    ARGH, stupid me !

    I found the "cause".
Seems like it was not software, but hardware-related.
During changing the crystal, I must have done something wrong, because the flatcable that I'm using, did came loose on pin "D7" of the LCD display ...

Ooh well, I'm glad I could solve it ;-)

    Best regards from Belgium,
    Kris
