Re: Preview of updated Proton Compiler Manual

Perhaps we should have 2 Brand styles for the Product, Hobby ( as per current logo ) and Professional ( Branded to look more like Visual Studio, blue and rather bland! )

Re: I'm over the moon with joy. :-)

My understanding is that there is no memory management, i.e. local variables are not recycled. So local variables do occupy the ram memory space but they are not visible to other parts of the...

Yes, I know about the ini file support in Delphi, in fact I am using it to load in the Printer info and to handle the .mci files which I now use to carry notes, version number code folding and...
  24. Re: johngb has just uploaded Proton Studio Version 1.0.1.10!

Would you mind opening the registry and going to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JGBTools\ProtonNewIDE\Tools.
Under Tools you should see a list of entries Tool0, Tool1 etc. These should correlate with...
  25. Re: johngb has just uploaded Proton Studio Version 1.0.1.10!

  27. Re: Update on procedures in the Proton BASIC Compiler

    @Les
I wondered if that might be the case after I sent it but it would be good to keep compatibility between compilers if possible.
  28. Re: Update on procedures in the Proton BASIC Compiler

Will these changes be fully reflected in the P24 version of the compiler? e.g. BycRef.
Hopefully once users have had time to work with procedures in the 8 bit environment they may be more inclined...

  32. Re: johngb has just uploaded New Update to Proton Studio!

  33. Re: johngb has just uploaded New Update to Proton Studio!

  34. Re: johngb has just uploaded New Update to Proton Studio!

It sounds like the installation didn't complete properly. Tried it here again on my PC and it went fine but I'm on Windows 10 64. I tried the 32 bit install and that was went OK as well. I deleted...
  35. Re: johngb has just uploaded New Update to Proton Studio!

    George

    I can...
