    Re: String array question ?

I'm thinking more than ever the data is upside down after the max232. Can you just arrange a level converter without the max232 - couple of resistors or a direct connection?

    Re: String array question ?

    Hello Craig,
Just extracted this line from one of my programs and it works very well.

    Try:

    Re: Frequency counter

The Microchip approach gives period but makes use of Bob's approach using the internal clock. Frequency is then the inverse of period. I use the method to convert PWM from an accelerometer to period....

    Re: Frequency counter

    Hi Teo,
If you use a counter you'll need to keep the gate open for 100 seconds for two decimal places. Is that practical?
Another approach would be to measure pulse width. There's an application...
  14. Re: 16f876 that I can use in place with 16k program memory

One of my projects started with a 18f452, then changed to 4620, then a 4680 then a 18f4685 (92k). All had the same pin connections for my purposes. So you have plenty of options.

  16. Re: CF Declares gone awry in latest release??

The requirement for the word 'Declare' did change so some old examples may have that missing. Just a thought. Don't know if that is your issue .

  17. Re: CF Declares gone awry in latest release??

Won't be a licensing issue. There is only one version of the compiler. If no dongle then only 'free' pics will compile.
