Re: New Prusa mini 3D printer

Prusa had always made some of the finest 3D printers. Having said that, I did not read anything on this new printer.

    Re: Relational Operators

    Paul,

I have not tried your problem but as a workaround I think the following will work: -

    If A < B Or A = B Then
' What you want to do here
    EndIf

If you make all tests and find that...

It been a week that I did not access the forum as I was abroad on holiday. I have seen the `Rely with Draft', however, on top of the page there was a ribbon that after you click on...

Re: Is XTAL available at compile time

    Bob,

Have a look at how errors are handled in this piece of code once I found around: -

    Re: CWRITE and 18F25K50

What I always was/am afraid of is the write address.

How one would know where to write to a particular PIC address without messing with the code space? And is the same for using i.e. a 12F1572?
  13. Re: Using a PLC HMI to communicate with a pic

    Geoff,

I did some basic stuff with Nextion. If you encounter problems sending data just let me know. Having said that, I have the early display versions, the enhanced ones seems to be better with...

Re: The use of USB with the 18F2550

I cannot find the two USB PIC's I had, so for now cannot do any test.

One thing I remember is that in my code I made a loop to test if the PIC can send data to USB.

    Why? Because if the COM...

    Les,

By any chance, have you made progress on the library for this module? Thanks
  16. Re: Using a PLC HMI to communicate with a pic

I use Nextion and they are good. However, do not expect the same level of help as here on their forum. Just browse through some of their forum posts and you realise what I mean.

Re: The use of USB with the 18F2550

The CDC I used was practically turning a PIC into a COM port.

If I have any chance, which is very rare at the moment, I will try to compile the code and see if it works.

Re: The use of USB with the 18F2550

    Yves,

Way back in 2013, (that is what the Wiki says), I did connect a PIC with USB and controlled 8 LED's. Have a look here.

Having said that, That was an old version of the USB CDC and never...

Re: Proton Compiler Button Toggle Procedure

I would also have a good look and study Les code with Procedure. It is very neat, and if you need to alter something you do it inside the Procedure, which is way faster than looking through the code.

    Re: Temperature Controller Problem

    Amod,

I would suggest that you first write a small code that prints to an LCD. As LCD's are widely used, there is more chance that forum users can do test of your code and come up with a solution....
