    Re: Help with 12F1572

I couldn't agree more MPlabX is even worse than MPLab but nevertheless it is possible, using IPE, to flash programme devices that neither PK2 or PK3 can do either CLI or GUI.

    BTW you can install...

    Re: Help with 12F1572

Without checking, (thank the deity that I now have a NSDSP) you should be able to use your PK3 with IPE. IPE is the device programming portion of MPLABx - it's horrible but it works.

    Re: nrf24L01 Bi-directional communication

Search for "payload". In my nRF/USB remote keypad example, the master sends a request to the slave which replies using the payload feature and otherwise sleeps.

  17. Re: ESP8266 as master communicate with 2 slaves

I see no reason not to do that unless I suppose you don't have sufficient RAM. I did it like that because I was worried that RX'ed data might inadvertantly overwrite TX buffer.
  18. Re: NRF24L01+ - Problems getting it up and running on P24

I realise this may be more work but why not get it working with 18F first then you can verify nRF24L01+ hardware and get a handle on what to expect on the RX side.

    I can't find Barak's code at the...

Re: exception on (bypass) clear command

Provided the values you do not want cleared are either at the start or the end of RAM a simple FOR NEXT loop will clear memory.

The downside of Cwrite (write to code ROM) that you are limited to...
  20. Re: ESP8266 as master communicate with 2 slaves

I guess simple is relative. Barak has provided a solid code base that is easy to modify. Compare that with getting BLE on an ESP working.

You might look at here ,which uses Barak's code almost...
  21. Re: ESP8266 as master communicate with 2 slaves

There are many simpler solutions eg nRF24L01+ but maybe you're not looking for simple.
