    Re: 3D printer. Yey!!!!

    Les,

As I suggested in post #2 Fusion 360 is impressive, at least from my perspective.

As a printer I have the Creality CR10S. I heard some good things about the Ender.

    Re: Pulse counter memory problem

    Thanks for your kind words.

The idea came when I needed to write to eeprom every 20 minutes on an 18F26K22, which have 1024 eeprom address, and made my grey cells work harder.

    Les,

Uninstalled the previous compiler and installed this version. However, every time I hit Compile it is searching for the compiler and nothing will compile.

    Re: Pulse counter memory problem

    Les,

With regards eeprom cycle lifespan, if I need to save say every half an hour, I use a method to write to different eeprom address. Reading back is simple.
This is a summary of what I do.

    Re: EEPROM write time

So there is no need to add a delay. That is super.

Also the single page write instead of single ones is interesting. I read something about eeprom chips but not a PIC. How can that be achieved?

    Re: EEPROM write time

So after I write to an eeprom I do a delay of 4ms x # of bytes to write. In this case, I am writing a Dword so 4 bytes, so when I write a Dword I do a 16ms delay, Word 8ms and byte 4ms.

    Right now...

    EEPROM write time

I am using an 18F26K22 @ 16MHz and using eeprom to store some data.

I have read somewhere on this forum that a minimum delay to write to an eeprom is needed. I think it was 10ms.

    So, I have 4...

But I did found something on my old PC....
  25. Re: johngb has just uploaded Proton Studio Ver 1.0.1.6!

    Bob,

Just make sure to include quotes something like the following: -

    -w -pPIC$target-device$ -f"$long-hex-filename$" -q

The above is for MikroProg. Do not know if it works with Pickit.
