    Hi Norm, the Inverted U shaped track looks like the antenna, could try cutting the track. make the antenna inefficient. that should reduce the range

    Hi. I think you are not going to be able to achieve this option easily.

    the maximum clock speed of the 16F877 is 20mhz, and the micro controller takes at least 4 clock cycles to execute one...

    do you need to use bidirectional comms with both devices?
    or could you use hardware receive for one device and hardware transmit for the other device?
    effectively sharing the one port...
