    Re: Resistor Bands - Confusion

    Hello Bob,
The colour change is a reasonable suggestion so to make sure I've had a long hard look under good lighting using both a usb microscope and standard magnifying glass. I have to be honest...

    Re: Resistor Bands - Confusion

    Hello Gamboa,
Thanks for your reply. I've looked through all the charts to see if I could match the resistors to their value.

    Using the 5 band calculator

    Re: Resistor Bands - Confusion

    Hi Bob,
Thanks for your reply. You've hit the nail on the head. Neither resistor has those values although one would have it's measured value if you ignored the final green band and read it as a 4...

    Thanks Harm,
I do have the book "USB Design by Example", but I find it very hard reading. Think I need to look at it again.

    Hello Harm,
Thanks for that explanation. If the descriptor had 2 reports for sending do you know what the report ID would be. Is it 0 for the first report, 1 for 2nd report etc.
    Thanks
