    Re: Selection of the Disk/Directory

For the data folders like Documents or Photo, Music etc, this I know is relatively easy to do. I did it before.

    Re: Selection of the Disk/Directory

    Thanks George for the reply.

    Selection of the Disk/Directory

Is there a way to install the Proton Compiler in a different Disk than the default C ?

I have a small sized SSD as system C: disk and a large HD as D: where I install the applications.

    Re: Efficient RF protocol

If data speed is not a major factor, then LORA tranceivers can help you with extreamly long range through walls.

I did a 3-4 Km communication from my second floor kitchen to the above distance...

    Re: frequency meter desin

The application note AN592 from Microchip gives all the details to make it work. It is based on Timer0 specs. Very clever use of the fast timer0.

    Re: Proton IDE

    1. Why there is an option to download 32 or 64 bit when the program installs in (x86) directory?

    2. There is no option to select where user wants to install the software. For example I have an SSD...

    Re: IR or RF?

IR is very directional. So if the shape of the room is concerning you then best is to use RF. Also RF can go to other room if this is needed.

    Re: 4R7 NTC Thermistor Application

Since I never used an NTC as a current limiter, I wonder how hot does a 4R7 gets when it is heated enough to be considered as a shortcut.
