    Re: HBUSIN stops program?

I find the buffer in hbusin to be a significant advantage and its interrupt facility is also valuable.

Would you please make a WIKI article, perhaps in the hints section? Your description is too useful to have disappear into the depths of the forum.

    Re: Electromagnetic display

We had one of those clocks until a few years ago. I was amazed how long the "C" cell used to last. And I could always tell when the hour ticked over and most/ all the leaves fell..
  6. Re: You HAVE to fix the downloads for this product !!!

Go to files download 3.6.0.2, install it, then download the latest update which is a compiler file and install it over the last one. You're finished.

    Hello Teo,
Here is the complete program. It was used to read an encoder that provided a PWM output. I needed to convert the PWM to a period and then to a value in degrees which is sent out via...

    Re: Malware on this website?

I would if I could Lester, but frankly the brain isn't what it used to be so it's too steep a learning curve to design and run a forum. I'm only 2 years off 80.
I will however do what I can for the...

    John,
So far so good but I haven't used it for direct programming. I always run MPLAB and do things from there.
Order of files is fine, PDFs going really well. Will play with colour next.

    Re: Malware on this website?

Users: If you spot something as per Lester's message send me a PM and I'll clean it up. Lester has a business to run and I'm retired (although not in my wife's opinion).

That's interesting. I can't access User Permissions. I used to be able to do that.

    Re: Frequency counter

If you use a counter you'll need to keep the gate open for 100 seconds for two decimal places. Is that practical?
Another approach would be to measure pulse width. There's an application...

  34. Re: CF Declares gone awry in latest release??

The requirement for the word 'Declare' did change so some old examples may have that missing. Just a thought. Don't know if that is your issue .

  35. Re: CF Declares gone awry in latest release??

Won't be a licensing issue. There is only one version of the compiler. If no dongle then only 'free' pics will compile.
