    Re: Self Calibrating Routine

Not much different of hoe to do it yourself, maybe worse. But I find it really useful especially when I have to measure a 1v range with 0.01v difference.

Shared it a couple of times on the forum...

    Re: Self Calibrating Routine

    Fanie,

I've been using your routine, (a bit altered), for the last two years.

Well, surprised that you just posted it and I have been using it for the last two years?

    You see when you...

Re: Why is my device restarting

For me you have the VBOR set a bit too high @ 4.6v. You have 4.9v supply and I think that when you connect the LCD it drops that 0.3v for a short period and the PIC resets. Can you disable the...

    Re: Cdata and Cread

I get confused when trying to do something with CWrite. I think even for the CWrite it needs some tweaking to the manual. For instance, I cannot understand the use of ORG 2000 in the manual.

It places software to last sentence of code (_code) - 18?

  32. Re: Best choice, 18F26K22 or 16F18857 for Mat/Calc. IOC Edge trigger?

If you do not use an op-amp for the adin, it is still possible to use a `little cap' to eliminate some noise? Where should the cap be connected, from the adin pin to ground?
  33. Re: Best choice, 18F26K22 or 16F18857 for Mat/Calc. IOC Edge trigger?

    George,

I am measuring upto 13.3v with the PIC running at 3.3v. First off I use a voltage regulator, Microchip MCP1703A as this has an input voltage of 16v.

Then, I did a voltage divider,...
