    Re: MIcrocode bootloader files ....

On my x64 PC they are at C:\Program Files (x86)\ProtonIDE\MCLoader\LoaderHEX
  3. Re: Code generated by 3.7.0.8 not fitting in 18F24K22

Is the problem that code is now larger or some disconnect between actual ROM size and Proton usage? If it's just that you're running out of code space, 25K22 and 26K22 seem to be very similar devices...
  4. Re: Code generated by 3.7.0.8 not fitting in 18F24K22

Did you try current version 3.7.1.2?
  5. Re: Wanted 18F25K22 bootloader for purchase .....

Not to confuse things but nobody has mentioned Alberto's take on bootloader.

    Re: PicKit4, cosa ne pensate?

Thats not really fair to PK3, it's MpLabX that is doing that. If you run Pk3 stand-alone with either GUI or command line (or even PicKit3Plus) firmware will not be messed with.

    Re: PicKit4, cosa ne pensate?

IIWY I'd buy a PicKit2 clone (yes I know some people complain that clones are unreliable but not in my experience) and if I wanted to use the PIC devices not supported by the microchip versions of...

Re: Toner transfer made easy .....

If (and I know thats a big if) you could keep the PCB's holes on a 0.1" pitch you could overlay a bit of predrilled vero board and drill thro.

@xldaedalus Just to confirm that you do know that you can include ASM statments in your code?

Re: BreezeA board / Amicus18 problem

you can probably discount 2) unless "many" is more than 10, 3) as you appear to have more than one Windows PC and they both simultaniously decided not to work. Start with 3) and if that doesn't work...

    Re: Beta Testers Wanted

I've been working on a data logger module and I'm fairly pleased, although I still have the shifted scale ticks and numbers to deal with.

[SOLVED !] Re: Help for Fatigue testing controller

Can't say for sure that this is your problem but you could think about read modify write. If its absolutly essencial that you write individually to a bunch of bits on the same port either use LAT or...
  15. Re: Prolem with 1 x 16 alpha LCD when connected on PortA

As I guess is common with mc datasheets, it's kindda contradictory. In the table 1.2 none of the pins are OD (indeed OD is not even in the legend) but later on when dealing with I2C 15.3 thet state...

    Re: dropdownlists wrong?

I don't know if this helps but if you put a valid Device statment in your code when you invoke FuseConfigurator it will select the correct device.
  17. Re: Prolem with 1 x 16 alpha LCD when connected on PortA

If I read the ds correctly only RB1,RB2, RC3 and RC4 are open drain and only when in I2C mode.
Do you have a TRISA setting?
I suspect that the gibberish is caused by writting to the LCD to quickly....
  18. Re: Using the Internal Fixed Voltage Reference as the +VREF of the ADC on a PIC18F25K

As always, sage words from tw. Although I guess it's assumed that vref calibration will help with the 6% and temp sensor (which as currently implemented is infinity worst than Vfef) should help with...
  19. Re: ADC alternative way to capture Data using nbuilt Fix voltage reference

Sorry Yves, I jumped to conclusions without trying to fully (or indeed partially) understanding your code. Perhaps you could post Proteus sims?
  20. Re: ADC alternative way to capture Data using nbuilt Fix voltage reference

To confirm, you are measuring the Pic devices own Vdd? (that's certainly what the code looks like)

I had the same problem with 18F27K42 (but I didn't need to display the results so VDD = Device...
  21. Request for additional Procedures module feature

Would it be possible to allow "End Proc" as well as "EndProc". If that is not possible could the compiler generate a specific error where "End Proc" is used. At the moment the IDE highlights "End...

  23. Re: Writing parameters in the Flash memory of a PIC24

Stephen don't think PTR will do it.

I vaugely remember a thread on this subject but I don't hablar Proton24, I think Les created an include file.

Re: 18F26J50 and 18F26K53 as Hosts?

    18F26J50 and 18F26K53 as Hosts?

    Re: PIC18F47K40 and Hserout

Your quite correct but what choose do they have. Perhaps draw a line at maniplating variables into either Heap or access memory (which I suspect is the same as adding SYSYEM to declaration).

  29. Re: Streaming the same audio track in real time to two different locations

The sync idea looks attractive but means that music can't be played on the fly ala dj. Do you'd need to have a different sync for each track?

  32. Re: Streaming the same audio track in real time to two different locations

I assume you want a wireless solution (who wants to drag 2 clicks of cable across a city)?
  33. Re: Streaming the same audio track in real time to two different locations

As you say, line of sight is assured (if you couldn't see the bridge what would be the point). To how many different locations do you have to stream audio?
  34. Re: Streaming the same audio track in real time to two different locations

@Shantanu How long will this installation be in place? You obviously have line of sight, so what does that do for you?

@Charlie Isn't that the whole idea of streaming the audio so that SOS isn't...

    Re: Changing EDA software

Totally agree with Les but I have yet to see a tool that does more "real" sim of Pic devices.

Flowcode removes you too far from the hardware.
