    I use IPE when and only if I have to. But hoped that could get away from that horrible environment. Usually I use PicProg+ or Pickit3 with the stand alone software from Evan.

    The curiosity has on-board programmer that is controlled by the MPLABX. Is there a way to use that board without MPLABX?

    I am not very familiar with PDS but have to ask: Doesn't the MPLABX *.inc files help on correcting/constructing the ppi files?

    For the data folders like Documents or Photo, Music etc, this I know is relatively easy to do. I did it before.

    But installation of a program? Can this be done with Junction Points too?

    Is there a way to install the Proton Compiler in a different Disk than the default C ?

    I have a small sized SSD as system C: disk and a large HD as D: where I install the applications.

    IR is very directional. So if the shape of the room is concerning you then best is to use RF. Also RF can go to other room if this is needed.

    Regarding jamming, whatever you use this will happen...
