I have just bought a new note book running Windows 7 64 bit. I have downloaded the latest upgrade for the compiler. When I try to compile with the dongle plugged in I get the message " Dongle not found " I checked and see that there is a new file for the Sparkey 64 bit. I have downloaded that and followed the instructions to upgrade the file but i am having problems. I put the new file into " Downloads " but when I try to point to the file I just get to the downloads in device manager and nothing seems to happen. What am I doing wrong? The new PC has no serial port so I have got to use a USB/Serial converter,is there any chance of an upgrade to use the USB port? I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
