Hello Brian,

There was a time I used transfer tape to make PCB's with. I'm so glad that's over !
Our PCB's are a few too many to make ourselves unless we can somehow stretch time in a day with say another 20 or so hours.

I'm surprized a printer co hasn't yet made an inkjet to print on PCB's yet. I'm sure plenty guys will get one.

As electronics is just my hobby this style of toner transfer has been the best I've used.I used to use the wife's iron but that was really hit and miss with the laminator it work's first time every time and in less than a minute I'am ready to etch and for double sided boards I use 1/32" board and make the top and bottom seperate then glue them together,so far it has worked 100%.
I even impress myself with the way they turn out the only problem is the via's which are a pain more than a problem

Hi,
Taken from a website on how to make PCB's, not sure if it is still correct.
If you google the Harwin part nr you get this but it is no longer stocked by Farnell

Outside the UK, they can be ordered direct from Harwin, and sample packs can be ordered from their website. Harwin part no. T1559-01, Farnell 114-3874/114-3879 (500/1000) RS 654-1276.

They are called track pins.

Following supplier carries these.
Google "Harwin PLC" to find web site.

Harwin PLC, UK, US and Singapore - Supply insertion tool, supply pins T1558-T1565, under Products/Hardware/Other, 200 per strip, 2500 per box. PDF data available from site.

Farnell no longer stock these.

Try a search for Harwin. They are registered in the US also. They may be able to point you in the direction of a local (Canaduck) supplier.
