Default Help Display GLD JHD529M1 128x64

Hello,

I think buying the display GLD12864 me confused, I thought that would pins more or less the same but no! up that I had in my hand in the testing Protoboard and did research for the pins.
This screen is JHD529M1 GLD ST7920 and its driver, thought it was 128x64 with GLCD driver KS108.
These two screens have different pins (see picture).

The differences are in the pin 15 of JHD529M1 of KS108 and 15.16,
PSB = 15 (Serial or Parallel) / 15 = 16 = CSI and CS2 (Chip Select) for less than ido can also go in series, as I do not know ....!!

I have been trying to pin 15 to VCC to use the parallel bus or using the 8 data bits,
nothing at all but nothing comes out of the screen (doesn´t work), as if the little PBP supports this type of display.
The program code that I use is:

Saludos.

To save others the need to use Google Translate to satisfy their curiosity:

HTML Code:
hello friend, I see you're from Spain, I wanted to ask you if you solve the problem podiste? your GLCD since I'm in the same situation, not as the pic plug pins 15 and 16, and also as a developer, if you have any code agradeciria? you, I have the same GLCD with st7920 driver.
And the reply:

HTML Code:
Hi, I wonder which of the two map pin KS108 you mean the driver or other ST7920. - Greetings.
Háganos saber cómo podemos ayudar ... a través de la traducción de Google, etc .. y nosotros estaríamos encantados de poder ayudarle a usted en la dirección correcta (Just asking them if we can be of assistance )

traducion

on the ST7920, I need to connect it to a pic 16F877A, what happens is that I have a circuit working perfectly but with a GLCD controller 16F877A pic KS108 and proton IDE everything compiled in, then decided to buy more but I thought GLCD GLCD that were states in the pins, but I found a big surprise when I saw my circuit did not work as they do not have the pine C1 and C2 (pins 15 and 16 respectively) and now have the PSB and NC pin, you'd grateful if you could help me buy it on ebay with 5 GLCD driver ST7920 and therefore can not make them work: (

link_music -

http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/pro...roducts_id=710

Buena suerte ...
Carl

For us English speakers...

I suggest you try a more common chipset like this: "KS0108B parallel interface" - easy to connect and lots of support. Yours' is likely convertible, but will likely take some work. I could not find a data sheet that was readable. I did find a spec sheet http://www.willar.com/upload/shop/JHD529M1.pdf, but it was too generic.

A possible source fo the GLCDs is SparkFun (usually very reasonable price): http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/pro...roducts_id=710

With that LCD, you would have lots of support and samples right from the PDS manual....and of course from the forum members...(one of the best aspects of this product )

Good Luck...
Carl

Saludos...
