  • PDS Library Manager Plug-In

    The Library Manager enables you to package developed code so that it can be easily accessed for other projects. It allows functions developed by yourself or 3rd parties to be used to extend the functionality of the Proton Language, integrating seamlessly into the Proton IDE as if it were an extension to the Proton language.

    The package also provides tools for creating new macros, building and distributing libraries and generating statistics about your code. Library Manager comes with a full set of Comprehensive help files.

    Library Manager comprises one mandatory package and two optional packages:

    Library Manager (Mandatory for all users of Library Manager)
    • Library Manager: Allows the adding, removing and reviewing of library functions
    • Library Pre-compiler: Runs in the background and builds the library prior to compiling
    Library Developer (Optional tools for users wishing to develop Libraries)
    • Macro Extractor: Finds and extracts macros in existing code and saves to the library file format
    • Macro Generator: Wizard which makes light work of creating a macro skeleton.
    • Help File Builder: Wizard to assist in the generation of a compatible Help file for user developed libraries
    Statistics Viewer (Optional for users wishing to review their Variable usage)
    • Statistics Viewer - a display utility which presents statistics on what variables are used where, how often and in which bank they are located.

    To get started, download all
    currently available libraries from here


    Installation Instructions

    Run the Library Manager set up first and then copy LibMan.mcd to the Library root directory which will have been created by the setup. The optional packages can be installed in any order.


    Download for PDS version 3.5.0.3 and above
