Hi, How do I read codes generated by a usb keyboard?

You need a USB host. I don't think any 8-bit PICs have host functionality, but companies like FTDI make USB hosts which can be interfaced with a PIC. It's a lot of trouble though, you would probably be better off using some other type of keyboard.

You need a micro wich has "USB host" feature. This pic micros not supported by current Proton compiler version
