Hello I need some help, How do I set the baud rate on my quickblue. The datasheet says pin 5 and 6 are the baud rate selector but I have 3 pins pgd pgc and pgm. Also the datasheet has baud 0 and baud 0 in the heading which one is the baud 1 ?

Thanks

Anton

I have also noticed the led's are oppesite to what the datasheet says. I am just getting gibberish on the pc. Can I connect the pic directly to the module input or must I use a level shifter i.e. max 232?

When I check my data from com port 1 then all is ok.

Thanks

Anton

if you're using the PIC USART with Hserout, you'll need a invertor circuit like max232 or else. If you're using a software solution (Rsout) you can specify the inverted mode and plug it directly to your module. Resistor in serie 1-10K should work.

What I have done is to take the output from the inverter into the module through some resistors but I am still getting gibberish. Is the digram correct or is the silkscreen on the module correct?

Thanks for help.

Ok got the beast to work on 115200 baud. but datasheet horribly wrong. Data is not inverted btw.
